An alternative to whole home ducted systems, the new General Airstage (formerly Fujitsu) Multi Systems are designed for homes where traditional ducted systems are impractical. It can connect up to four indoor units to a single outdoor unit. The system uses efficient R32 refrigerant technology, which has a 67 per cent lower global warming potential (GWP) factor than commonly used R410A, without compromising performance.

A floor mounted heat pump (or floor console) is a great solution when high wall mounted heat pump doesn’t suit your tastes, or room layout. Or maybe you want a heating solution that’s away from eye level. Some models also offer the aesthetic benefit of being partly recessed into the wall. A floor mounted heat pump is connected to an outdoor unit in the same way as a normal heat pump or split system.
We can recommend and install Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu General and other main brands - so you can have all the options for a comfortable temperature in any room. Please keep in mind that being lower down in a room means floor consoles can be great for heating cool air that's low down, but perhaps less effective in grabbing hot air at the top of a room to cool it.
